When Eb Novak started Unique Industries at the age of 23, he never dreamed it would grow into the successful manufacturing and distribution company it is today. In fact, he always dreamt of becoming a cowboy. But in 1961, Eb rented a tiny space in the basement of a Philadelphia warehouse and worked around the clock to build a successful business from the ground up—sweeping floors, unloading trucks, moving pallets, and even enlisting the help of his sons to package products at home. Now, over 65 years later, Unique is one of the leading global party supply companies in the world. Eb’s work ethic and dedication is now carried on by his sons and grandsons, keeping the business in the family – one of only a few large family-owned party supply companies in existence.

Though we’ve moved and expanded quite a few times from the original basement where Eb first set up shop, we’re still proud to be headquartered in Philadelphia. And that’s not the only change we’ve made in the past 65 years. We now operate a number of facilities in many locations around the world, across the U.S., as well as Canada, the United Kingdom, and Asia, creating one of the most extensive distribution networks in the party goods industry. With over 62 million cubic feet of dedicated manufacturing and warehouse space across both the U.S. and overseas, we are uniquely positioned to serve our vast array of international customers quickly and efficiently.  From tableware to decorations, accessories to party favors, balloons to pinatas, our in-house design and manufacturing capabilities position us to drive growth for all our customers, big and small.

Today we partner with nearly every major licensor, including Disney, Marvel, Nickelodeon, Hasbro, and Universal, just to name a few, to bring to market the hottest licenses in the party industry. Our current licensed portfolio includes K Pop Demon Hunters, Bluey, Paw Patrol, Pokémon, Minecraft, Star Wars and dozens more. Here in America, we’re creating both jobs and high-quality products, so you can feel good about buying from Unique.  Most of our paper plates, napkins and cups are made in the U.S.A. at one of our three manufacturing facilities by hard-working Americans.  And while we have extensive overseas sourcing, quality control, and manufacturing, we’re most proud of our state-of-the-art printing and converting facilities in Montoursville, Pennsylvania, Louisville, Kentucky and Blairs, Virginia. These plants and our expansive distribution centers comprise the network that allows us to efficiently ship North America and International customers high quality products at the most competitive prices.
