Inflate balloons 1-2 hours before your party starts for best results.
The number of balloons you can inflate depends on the size and shape of the balloon you chose to create. Do not over-inflate balloons.
Reference the below chart for how long each balloon type will continue to float when inflated with helium. On average, you can inflate more 9ʺ latex balloons with each tank than larger foil balloons. However, foil balloons will float longer.
Balloon type/size | Average Float Time |
---|---|
9" Latex |
6-8 hours |
11" Latex |
12 hours |
18" Foil |
1 week |
**Balloon inflation figures are based on indoor estimates at room temperature. Altitude, temperature, atmospheric pressure and humidity will affect float time and balloon size.
Ensure the safe and proper disposal of your Helium Balloon Tank by following these instructions.
Consult your local municipality or waste removal service to determine if disposable helium tank recycling is available. Bring your empty helium tank to a well-ventilated area.
NOTE: If recycling options are not available to you, please follow instructions 1 through 6 above, and place the disposable helium tank in your household trash.
