Unique Industries, Inc. (“Unique,” “we,” or “us”) is strongly committed to protecting and respecting your privacy rights.  This privacy policy (the “Privacy Policy” or “Policy”) sets out the basis on which Unique collects and uses information and data from visitors to our website located at favors.com (the “Site”).  Use of the Site constitutes your consent to the terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy.

What Personally Identifiable Information Will Unique Collect?

If you fill out our Request for Account form, we typically ask for your company’s name, address, structure, business characteristics, and business tax identification number, as well as individual contact information such as contact name, title, phone number, email address, and other possibly personally identifiable information.  Such personally identifiable information may also be collected by us through your voluntary submission of information as part of requesting a print catalog (for example, via “Request a Catalog”), subscribing to our email list (for example, via “Subscribe to Our E-Mail List”), and otherwise submitting messages via the Site specifically to our Customer Service or Overstock teams.

Unique does not share your email address or any other personally identifiable information with any third parties, except certain third party service providers where solely for our own business purposes, such as customer account evaluation, order fulfillment, or to provide services to us.  These service providers may have access to personally identifiable information only as needed to perform their functions.

What Tracking Information Does Unique Industries Collect?

When you visit the Site, we may send one or more “cookies” — a small text file containing a string of alphanumeric characters — to your computer that uniquely identifies your browser and helps enhance your navigation through the Site.  A cookie may also convey information to us about how you use the Site (e.g., the pages you view, the links you click, and other actions you take on the Site), and allow us or our business partners to track your usage of the Site over time and to understand trends.  A persistent cookie remains on your hard drive after you close your browser, and may be used by your browser on subsequent visits to the Site.  Persistent cookies can be removed by following your web browser’s directions.  You can reset your web browser to refuse all cookies or to indicate when a cookie is being sent.  However, some features of the Site may not function properly if the ability to accept cookies is disabled.

How Unique Stores Its Data

Notwithstanding anything else in this Privacy Policy, we may disclose personally identifiable information and other collected information when required by law, when we deem necessary to protect the rights or safety of site users, our employees or property, or when violations of our terms or conditions of use have occurred.  This includes exchanging information with third parties and organizations in connection with credit risk reduction, and the investigation or prevention of suspected fraud or illegal activity.  We may also transfer or disclose personally identifiable information if we are acquired by or merged with another company.

The Site may, from time to time, contain links to external websites.  Unique encourages you to review the privacy and security policies of any externally linked websites that may be accessed through our Site.  Unique assumes no responsibility or liability for the information, collection or disclosure practices of any external websites that you access through the Site.  Please check the privacy policies of these external websites before you submit any personally identifiable information or other information to them.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

Unique reserves the right to amend this Privacy Policy at any time and from time to time.  You should check this Privacy Policy each time you use the Site to determine if any changes have been made.  If you use the Site after the amended Privacy Policy has been posted, you will be deemed to have agreed to the amended Privacy Policy.

About Children

Unique does not knowingly collect information from children under the age of 13 through the Site.  If you are under the age of 13, please do not provide any information through the Site.  We encourage parents and legal guardians to monitor their children’s Internet usage and to help enforce this Privacy Policy by instructing their children to never provide any information on this Site or any other web site without their permission.  If you have reason to believe that a child under the age of 13 has provided information to Unique through the Site, please contact us by phone at 215-336-4300 or 800-888-0559, or by email at [email protected], and we will endeavor to delete that information from our databases.

How Do I Change My Information or Opt Out?

If you wish to change the information submitted to Unique through the Site, or no longer wish to receive communications from Unique, please send an email to [email protected].  Be sure to include your email, name, company name, and clear statement of your request so we can confirm that the requested changes are made or confirm that you are removed from our system.
