31 Jul Sweet Hearts and Grill Marks: I Do BBQ Party Ideas You’re Sure To Love

Say “I Do” to this adorable wedding bash! Whether it’s for newlyweds or the newly engaged, this backyard BBQ is a fun and unique way to celebrate such a special milestone. We love an excuse to fire up the grill and enjoy the summer sun, so we threw our own I Do BBQ to put our party ideas on display. From a hot dog bar and picnic, to champagne flutes and wedding cake, this reception is easy to dress up or down while still pleasing a crowd.

Complete with Gold Glitter Champagne Flutes and gingham tableware, our I Do BBQ dessert table is the perfect mix of summertime charm and classic wedding elegance.

We really wanted to make the cake table shine, so we created an easy, but adorable backdrop with our Silver Foil Letter Balloons spelling out “I Do.” Not only will these balloons draw attention, but when it’s time to cut the cake this backdrop will make for wonderful photos.

From there, we simply dressed the table with all the necessities, paper plates, napkins, and plastic cutlery. This collection of Red and White Gingham tableware not only looks great, but it makes cleanup quick and easy so guests can spend more time dancing and celebrating.

For a pretty picnic table

We decided our picnic table needed a little extra charm. So, we created a whimsical DIY crepe paper streamer table runner. Here’s what you’ll need:

• 1 Roll of our Red Crepe Paper Streamers
• 1 Roll of our White Crepe Paper Streamers
• Clear Tape

Cut the red and white streamers to the desired length. We opted to have 5 red streamers run the entire length of our table while our 5 white streamers were laid in the opposite direction.

Begin to weave the white streamer (the shorter pieces) through the red streamers. As we did this, we taped the white and red streamers together where they overlap with a donut of tape. This way, as guests sit and eat, the table runner will not lose its shape.

When the desired gingham pattern is complete, you can choose to let the ends of the streamer hang off the edge of the table or tape them underneath for a sharper look.

Every dog has its (wedding) day

When it’s time to chow down, create a custom hot dog from the hot dog bar. We love mixing and matching our toppings, plus with these handheld treats wrapped in our Hot Dog Trays they are easy to eat. We used our Clear Plastic 3 Compartment Tray to hold pickles, onions, and tomato. Our Red Plastic Cutlery works great as serving utensils for our condiments and toppings, while our Red and White Gingham party plates can handle many repeat trips to the buffet.
